2008 Wage and Salary Survey for Texas Hoteliers

Once again in 2008, TH&LA will partner with WageWatch, Inc., the leading web-based compensation and benefits survey company in the nation, to conduct a statewide survey of the lodging industry in Texas. This survey will tabulate data for 37 key management, salaried, and hourly positions within our industry. As indicated below, results will be broken down at the state level, as well as city level, for all areas where five or more properties submit data.

Participating in the survey is easy and costs you nothing. Simply click on the Start Survey button, and enter the wage and salary data for your property. All data for individual properties will be kept strictly confidential. Please keep in mind, the deadline for submitting data is March 31, 2008.

Beginning April 1st, you will be able to advance order a copy of the survey results through a link provided on our homepage. TH&LA members who participate in the survey can purchase a copy of the results for $50.00. Members who do not participate in the survey can purchase a copy of the results for $150.00. TH&LA will send you an email reminder to order your copy.

WageWatch already conducts the most successful hospitality industry compensation survey in the nation, and through this partnership, TH&LA will work to get each of its members to participate in the 2008 survey, thereby providing you with current data on hiring rates and average compensation for all of the positions at your property. The results of this survey will serve as a great tool for determining how well your compensation program stacks up against your competitors.
